Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

Jackie, the silver is so shiny and beautiful! And magical! I can see why the children are loving it. I love decorating the headboard of our bed with garland for each holiday. For Christmas it is white tassels, and I have a furry duvet cover for the bed. For Valentine's day, I put up the white felt heart garland.
ReplyDeleteThis is really a pretty silver set! The lights and mirrors must really make it sparkle, especially at night! I like changing up my dining room table!
ReplyDeleteYour tea set is so beautiful decorated with the lights and mirror balls. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas
Thelma.
Your tea set is beautiful and I love how you dressed it for Christmas, it's magical! I do love to add a lot of sparkle during the holidays, just something about those fairy lights! So love to visit here, your home and everything you do is beautiful........
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! The work of polishing is certainly worth the end result!
ReplyDeleteI think you pegged it: Adding lights to silver and crystal settings always makes it stand out. My 42-year-old son JUST noticed my crystal liquor decanters on a MASSIVE silver tray last weekend after them being on display for years in a different room. When I threw those lights in there to jazz it up for Christmas...BINGO! Suddenly he MUST HAVE a crystal decanter collection for his spirits! What a goof! I love him, though!
ReplyDeleteYou did a magnificent job. A little TLC can go a long, long way.
Oh, the tea service is lovely! Your added sparkle is perfection.
