Kathleen at
Let's Dish
is having a table theme challenge of
Birds...Bees...Flowers...Trees
so it was fun to bring out my
Bumble Bee plates that I
purchased a few years ago at Horchow.
This is one of the first nice days we have had
so I decided to set the table outside.
Bright white and yellow -
it just makes you happy doesn't it?
Our spring flowers are in full bloom so they
joined our table. I planted all my pansies
last fall in these two colors and with some
daffodils and pink tulips, it looks like spring
around here.
I just think these Bumble Bee plates are
so fun.
The dinner plate has honeycomb in the center
and bees buzzing around the outside.
The salad plate has the honeycomb around the
edge and nice big fat bee in the center.
Bubble goblets in clear and yellow
are fun and sunny too.
Of course my Napolean Bee flatware needs to
adorn this table.
I think I like bees in this form best -
no danger of getting a sting.
I love the textural interest on all of the plates.
This is another one of my new tablecloths
that I ordered from
This one is 132 inches and is under $20!
I ordered this one in champagne
and another in lavender (of course).
The really nice thing is that you
don't have to order in multiples - you can
get just one if you like.
The centerpiece is a silk floral with
lemons and pears. I often have this one
in my kitchen and thought it would
be perfect with the bees.
Yes, there is still a lot of snow on Mt. Timpanogos,
just keep it up in the mountains, we are done
with it down here in the valley.
I didn't realize this was my third Bee tablescape.
Wish I had one of those cupcakes right now.
Guess I will just have to settle for
Moonstruck Chocolates.
I will be posting with
Really beautiful Jackie and very appropriate for the "Beehive" state! Let's hope that snow stays up there! xo
ReplyDeleteI love your bee plates and bee flatware! I just don't want any real bees around my al fresco meals :) Thanks for the tablecloth link! I'm always looking for large round cloths for our gourmet group gathering that we host in summer.
ReplyDeleteYellow and white are such happy colors! Love your bee plates and flatware Jacqueline. That's a neat pic with the mountain in the background:@)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous table setting!! I have been eyeing the dishes and flatware for a while. The photo of the Mt in the background is one of the prettiest I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Jacqueline. Love the different textured plate edges...I keep looking for those vibrant yellow stems while out shopping.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week...
Lovely design and your new website design is lovely too! Wish I had that mountain view, Sally xx
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely bee dishes, Jacqueline, and so perfect with your Napoleon flatware. Who wouldn't be happy sitting at your sunny table??
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love your yellow honey comb and bee's plates. They are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI love your bee plates and bee flatware, and would love that bee cupcake! That mountain shot is gorgeous, but I'm done with snow for now ;o)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cheerful and bright tablescape. Love the bee plates and flatware...Jacqueline. So pretty all together on the table.....Christine
ReplyDeleteI like the plates and silverware. I've seen glasses in kitchen stores with the same bee on the side.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out the website for tablecloths, especially if they have lavender. :-)

Jacqueline, this is adorable. I think those plates are the bees' knees! Your images are gorgeous, especially with that snow covered mountain in the background. Wishing I had one of those cupcakes with my evening tea. '-)
ReplyDeleteStill kicking myself I didn't get the plates!!! I love them with the white. and the flatware is perfect. This table is wonderful. I wanted to crawl into the picture with the snow laden mountain in the back ground. The centerpiece is lovely too. We were both on a lemon theme this week!!! Have a blessed week. xo marlis
ReplyDeleteYou can never create too many bee tablescapes, my dear! They are a rite of Spring, Summer and Fall. (At least here in the Midwest where we seem to get a different kind for each season.) Each of your bee tables has been magnifique, and this one is certainly no exception!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the texture all over the table. It just keeps the eye moving and gives the tablescape so much depth! I love how the pintuck table linen goes so well with the pattern of a honeycomb, too. GORGEOUS centerpiece!!!!! I love lemon anything, and this is just too, too cute! I love the pot it's in. Again...there's that super texture!
Those snowy mountains are a cool backdrop! I'm with you, though: KEEP IT, dude!!! We are WAY OVER IT already!!! :-)
Perfect! I love all the little details, I have to go back and look again!,
ReplyDeleteWS had a Bee pitcher and platter that would be perfect with your gorgeous dishes! It was in the outlet and they were 75 off. I almost bought, but stung myself with the reality of having too much!
I wouldn't give you a B for this table, def an A!
Thanks so much for linking to Let's Dish!
What a beautiful backdrop for any meal. Love those bee plates and goblets.
ReplyDeleteLove your cheery table! I remember these gorgeous bee and honeycomb plates! Your backdrop is surreal with the snow covered peak! I would be afraid I would get nothing done besides staring and daydreaming :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Jacqueline!
ReplyDeleteYes, the yellow and white is most cheery and lovely! The bee dishes are lots of fun ~ love the honeycomb design in the center of the plate. White adds the prefect brightness. Aren't pansies the sweetest little flowers. Sometimes I fill my window boxed with them in the fall.
You table is coordinate so well and I have enjoyed visiting with you!
Kindly, Lorraine
Love the bee plates, I almost bought some white ones recently, still thinking about it! Your table is adorable, love the lemons in your centerpiece! The photo with the snow topped mountain is stunning, what a magnificent view!

What a delightful tablescape. The plate design is so pretty with it's honeycomb pattern. I also have the bee plates and flatware. The pansies are so cute and colorful and add a touch of Spring. You definitely found the perfect place to buy your table linens. They are gorgeous and so inexpensive. It prompted me to buy some immediately. Mine arrived yesterday and I am so pleased. I wanted to set a Bee table, however I had some errands to run and didn't get the chance. I am thoroughly enjoying yours. It's a breath of fresh air.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteYou are may favorite blog. I love everything you do :) I wonder though where do you keep all of your tableware, I have a hard time finding room just for my one set of "fancy" china from my grandma. Well keep up the wonderful work.
I collect bees/honey pots, so of course I love this, especially the flatware and the cupcakes:) Beautiful view too!

I can certainly understand why those bees are on your desserts, because they sure do look very sweet! I love the yellow honeycomb plates and the silverware. I also really like the bubble glass goblets as well. A beautiful tablescape in a beautiful setting!
ReplyDeleteYour bee table is BEE utiful! I love the bee dishes and the white ones are gorgeous. I am betting you got them at Tai Pan???? I wish we had them near us! Neat seeing the snow on the mountain but I sure don't want any!! XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteYou socked this one out of the ballpark!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous dishes and that luscious yellow! That honeycomb rim just makes me smile. But the best part? That gorgeous snow covered mountain in the background. It was the perfect backdrop for you pretty table.
Love this darling tablescape. What a perfect way to bring in Spring, in that gorgeous yellow with all the honey bees. Love the little chocolates, they are to die for as always!
