My copycat recipe for a local restaurant's breadstick,
Pizza Factory,
is one of my most visited posts
especially due to Pinterest.
I was contacted by
to do a 5 minute segment on their show
tomorrow, Tues. January 22.
I have done a lot of cooking classes over
the years but never before a camera where
if you mess up it is permanently recorded.
If you live in our area, you can catch the
show starting at 11:00 am.
Wish me luck and say a little prayer for me!
Yes, I am very nervous.
You will be fabulous. I hope it gets posted to you tube or YOU post a video for us to see!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jacqueline. You have nothing to worry about, you know your way around a kitchen better than most. Good luck! Wonder if you can get a copy for your blog?

Good for you...
If it gets on YouTube let me know?
You are a natural for this.
I'm excited for you! I truly believe that if you are doing something important, you will be nervous. You are normal :-) I hope you will show a video clip on your blog. Tell the TV station that your bloggers would like that! LOL

ReplyDeleteGood luck Jacqueline. I've got the recorder on. Can't wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that! I wish I could see it....perhaps there'll be a clip somewhere online later.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Jackie! You will do wonderful, wish I could see it but cant wait to hear all about it!
ReplyDeleteChill, baby! And remember what I told you: Just LISTEN to what the host asks and answer it, don't look at the camera(s) if it rattles your nerves, engage in normal conversation like you're talking to a friend, and keep in mind that YOU are the expert on this topic which is why they invited you there in the first place, so TAKE CHARGE like you own the place!!! :-) You'll do fine!
ReplyDeleteYou will be fantastic! I can't wait to watch!
ReplyDeleteYou were awesome. Fun recipe idea. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou did awesome and made me a first time visitor!!!!! These are my favorites and I was just telling a friend I NEEDED one of these in St. George....and poof! there you were!
ReplyDeleteI just saw you on Studio 5 and can't wait to try these. Yum. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your recipe!! :) I am so glad to have such a delicious looking and beautiful recipe. The Pizza Factory would never disclose anything to me or my family or friends, so your recipe delights me and I can't wait to make it tonight for dinner.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
I saw you on KSL a few minutes ago, and wanted to give my thanks! Can't wait to try this.
ReplyDeleteWe just saw you on Studio 5! You were amazing and the breadsticks look delicious! Great job! -The Six Sisters
ReplyDeleteJacqueline!
ReplyDeleteIt sound like you didn't need to worry!!!! I hope you will post a video or at least a link so those of us who are not there can see it! SO exciting...!!!!
I have been looking at your picture of these while it has been on your side bar, wonderinf if I could get away with that with a gluten free dough. The dough is SOOOO sticky and I am not sure it would stay in one plac elong enough to raise and look like yours. I make bread sticks, but you have to put the dough in a frosting bag and cut off the tip to even get it somewhat smooth onto a cookie sheet...maybe if I just ut the stick down and did the dough over the tops of that....I'll let you know how it goes!
Hearts to you!
Betsy!
Jacqueline,
ReplyDeleteJust watched the video!!! You did GREAT!!!! And you look as cute as ever! Thanks so much for sharing your love of food, your creativity, your love of cooking, your travels, your tablescapes and your talent of making food in a beautiful presentation, and your love of family with us... fun to see some great ideas you are so willing to share.
Hearts,
Betsy
Oh my gosh, you were so GOOD! This is such a great recipe, girl you are so smart to figure it out. Love your recipes!
ReplyDeleteYou were a natural in front of the camera! If you were nervous, it sure wasn't obvious:) Great job, Jackie! Fun and delicious breadsticks...what a great way to bake them without smashing them, over the baking sheet rims:) Congrats on your t.v. debut!
ReplyDeleteJacqueline,
ReplyDeleteI live in Michigan and of course don't get KSL but I found them on-line and found the video of you and your wonderful bread sticks. I've seen your recipe and when I saw you demo it you made it look so easy.
I'll now be making these for sure with our lasagna this weekend.
I love your wonderful blog and visit several times a week.
Thanks,
Ann
