A Blue Christmas Tablescape

It is going to be a Blue Christmas
here this year, but hopefully not without anyone!

The cool aquas are so gorgeous and feel like
icy snow.

The table is filled with the gifts that will go under the tree.

This Blue Christmas tablescape was inspired by our
new Christmas tree that I posted.  Click here
to see the transformation.

It features these sparkly wise men and their gifts.

These lovely aqua goblets with twisted stems were new
purchases from Cabo when I went in June.

I love my crown plates and bowls.  I have chargers, dinner plates,
salad plates and bowls.  These were one of my big scores last
year during November from Home Goods.  I was able to find a set
of twenty four.  You can never find that many at our Home Goods so
I was thrilled.

Of course with this elegant of a table, I had to bring out
my beautiful flatware from Horchow that Mrs. Claus gave me
two years ago.  Click here to see that.

Sparkling square placemats are another Home Goods find.  They only
had a few last year, but I found seven more this year, so we are all set.

The jeweled chargers were on sale at Z Gallerie last year.
This color of aqua blue is my favorite blue.

The table is covered with a pure white cloth.  It definitely
reminds me of a snowy scene.

Jeweled snowflake napkin rings are paired with
homemade aqua napkins.  They are so easy to make
in any color or fabric if you just serge the edges.

These pretty packages are ones that we will open
Christmas Eve.
I always wrap the Christmas Eve gift with a little more style.

A fun ornament makes a nice addition to a pretty gift.

The Wise Men help to remind us at this busy time
that
WISE MEN SEEK HIM STILL.
I will be posting with

  5. I love the aqua and silver Jacqueline - who says Christmas has to be red and green! How lucky you were to get a set of 24 plates with the crowns, and the flatware matches nicely.
The presents are wrapped so prettily, something I'm not very good at.

  17. Magnificent, Jacqueline! Truly magnificent!!! Color me duly impressed to the nth power!!! I am a big lover of bling, and this table has enough of it to satisfy many times over. Even the Wise Men are blinged! Your flatware is probably the prettiest I have ever seen in all my days. They just have such a regal look about them. They appear to be substantially weighted, too, which really makes eating with them a treat! Gorgeous chargers...saw them at Z Gallerie! I like the stem of the glassware very, very, very much. I have this thing about how things FEEL in my hands as I'm dining. I'm weird...I know! :-) I can't believe you found 24 of ANYTHING at Home Goods! That's almost unheard of!!! Bravo! The napkin rings are really, really pretty and look perfect against the brilliantly-colored napkins. Fun centerpiece!!!

  26. I always pray that I am wise enough to seek Him always, first and foremost.

This is my favorite shade of blue, too. I ordered boots in Turquoise this year!! just love them. I could wear them sitting elegantly at your gorgeous table. The crown dishes (really 24? lucky you!!!) are perfect with the exquisite silver brought to you last year! I somehow knew I would see it. I wrap the Christmas eve presents with more panache, too. Just gorgeous!! I'm dreaming of an aqua Christmas.....
