(even though she would like to) so we sharpened
up our knives for some
bread.
If you like a little kick in your life,
this Buffalo Sauce Chop Bread
is perfect for you.
Oh, Beaulah had a little too much fun with that!
Buffalo Sauce Chop Bread
Dough:
2 C. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. yeast
1/2 T. olive oil
7/8 C. warm water
Mix all of the above in the bowl of your standing
mixer with a dough hook for about 5 minutes.
Spray the bowl and dough with Pam and cover
with plastic wrap. Let rise until double, about 30-40
minutes depending on how warm your room is.
Punch the dough down and stretch it out on a piece
of parchment or wax paper. Top with 1 C. mozzarella
cheese and 2 T. Frank's Red Hot Wings Buffalo Sauce.
(This is wing sauce so it is about medium heat.)
Now the fun begins, chop it into smaller pieces with
your knife mixing in the sauce and cheese.
Grease a pan and shape the chopped bread into
a round. Place it in the pan. I chose to use a 10 inch
springform pan but a baking pan will do.
Heat your oven to 400 degrees.
Let the dough raise covered about 15-20 minutes.
Top with blue cheese if your guests like that.
Bake about 20 minutes. Gently pull apart some of
the chopped bread in the center to make sure it is
cooked all the way through.
Serve with additional Ghoulish Sauce if you like and let
everyone pull off pieces to eat.
