I saw a quote on Pinterest -
Cinderella
is proof
that a new pair of shoes
can change your life.
Don't most women love shoes?
I have heard that it is because they always
fit even if we gain weight.
But I think it is because they are little
works of art.
(Sorry men, I can't say that about your shoes!)
I found this beautiful pair of shoes
in Las Vegas at Shooz
while at Miss America and thought
they were just too fun and too pretty
and so I had to have them for Spring.
I don't know that they are really going
to change my life, but I have them sitting
out as a decoration on my dressing table until
Spring arrives - inspiring me.
I also received this little shoe for my
birthday.
Can you tell what it is?
It is a tape dispenser by Scotch. My good friend
Ann gave it to me.
She admitted that she added the bling!
Don't you just love it?
I am an admitted shoe-a-holic and
these both brought a smile to my face!
Hey! Those shoes will look GREAT if you wear it with that dress in your Profile photo on your side-bar!! That's JUST the kind of dress you need for that pair of shoes... a 'one color' dress, because those shoes need to stand on their own! As my mom would say: "Wear them in good health!"

Oh, my goodness. Those shoes are great! And you are so right about shoes always fit - even when you've gained weight. (I've said that many times.) Just this weekend my friend and I were comparing how many pairs of shoes we have and can't live without. I also love the tape dispenser - your friend knows you well.
ReplyDeleteHoly Moly girl....those shoes are AMAZING! I don't know where in the world I would be going in a pair like that...but they are wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteIf anyone can pull off those shoes, Jackie, it would be you. I think you would be able to work them into a centerpiece for a tablescape, as well. They are one of a kind, that's for sure. Love the blinged tape dispenser, my friend Dawn would like that. She is a shoe girl too. xo (P.S. Enjoy those honeybells.)
ReplyDeleteThose shoes look perfect for Spring! They remind me of a flower with petals :) Love the tape dispenser!
ReplyDeleteNow, that's a snazzy pair of shoes!! Wow! You should do a post when you wear them! And the tape dispenser is adorable! I have a collection of little shoes in my home office. I'm a shoe diva, too!

Those shoes are too adaorable!!! I hope when you wear them you do a post about it. I can't wear heels that high anymore but I do wear heels almost everyday, just kitten heels:):) XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteWow! Are those some shoes or what?! I have a high heel that holds my cell phone that sits on my desk. I think I need that tape dispenser too though! How cute is that?!
ReplyDeleteWow, those shoes are too cute! Perfect for spring. I love them! Love the tape dispenser too. No harm in having a little style in the office, right? Love it : )

They brought a smile to my face, too!
ReplyDeleteThey are so girly for Spring! Very cute!
The tape dispenser is an adorable hoot!
Those are really beautiful Cinderella shoes, Jackie! I'm sure your Prince Charming will be so happy when he sees you in them.
ReplyDeleteShoes a-go-go Jackie! You make me smile...;D
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous shoes! I'd need legs a good 8 inches longer if I were to look good in them!
ReplyDeleteWhat red blooded American Woman would not be a shoe-a-holic. You are the best. Those shoes are the Ritz. If I were just twenty years younger I would fight you for those. Alas, I will have to put my orthodics back into my shoes trudge off and pout.
ReplyDeleteI could handle the tape dispenser.
Hugs, Ginger
Fabulous Shoes! I would love to see them on! I would just wear them around the house for fun! XO Cindy
ReplyDeleteCinderella...knows her stuff. Nothing better than a pretty pair of shoes.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, look at those shoes! I am also a shoe addict, but sadly...my feet were the first thing to fall apart on me. I just can't wear heels anymore...just little ones for short periods of time. I guess I have no fat on the bottoms of my feet anymore...why didn't it fall off somewhere else?? So, my challenge is finding cushy shoes with low heels that don't look like someone's great-grandmother's sensible shoes. Not easy. I envy you...please take a picture when you wear these and I'll live vicariously!
ReplyDeleteShoes AND Bling?!!
ReplyDeleteThe things a Princess is made of!
You are going to wear those? Lol, I wouldnt be able to walk in them! I can't wait to see where you wear them!
ReplyDeleteCute! Love the whimsy of both. ~ sarah
