Christmas Aprons

Aprons for special occasions are so fun to have.

At Purple Chocolat Home we have been having

a great time creating fun combinations of Christmas

fabrics while making holiday aprons.

Joni at Red Couch Recipes (my fun sister) asked

if I would be willing to make a Christmas apron

for her to use as a giveaway.  My first thought was

who has time to make an apron right now!

Being the loving sister I am (and someone who has

a hard time saying no) I got started with the above

apron for Joni's holiday giveaway.  (Yes,

one of her lucky followers and hopefully my

follower too will receive this fun apron that my

daughter is modeling.)  This apron is made entirely

from Moda fabrics, mostly by designer Kate Spain.

Not only did I carve out time to make one for

Red Couch Recipes, my daughter and I have

made 5 more and have fabric for even more -

we keep making lists of who we think would

love one.

Notice this one with the peppermint candies and red

sheer fabric ruffles.  I love this one.

My daughter found this border print at JoAnns

and Wal Mart and made a mother/daughter set

that they will auction off at a church function to

raise money for those in need this Christmas.

(I thought that was a wonderful idea.)

We both fell in love with it and have made one for

ourselves, that is if I don't give it away before I get to use it.

Again, I love the sheer with the candy canes.
